get in my belly!

so i now reside in Osaka, Japan. how weird! although i’ve been abroad to many different countries in my lifetime, i’ve never actually lived in a foreign country for more than a few months. let’s hope i make it through the year that i’ve promised myself πŸ™‚

my appetite has been insatiable since i arrived – i’ve literally been eating twice as much as normal. no matter where i go, everything looks delicious!

yesterday i went out to lunch and shopping with my mom… i had Tekka Don, which is sashimi on rice, and cold udon. SO GOOD. and of course, in typical leela fashion, i was so excited about the food that i forgot to document it. sorry! the visual in my mind is wonderful, though πŸ˜‰

don’t worry – i’m gonna start remembering to get visuals of the delicious things that i’m eating here so you don’t feel left out!

About leemodesigns

I have been folding Origami for over 20 years - being raised in both Japan and Hawai'i has shaped and formed who I am today. Origami has been a kind of relaxation for me my entire life, and only recently did I discover that I enjoyed wearing my work rather than simply displaying it! Although folding paper is how I originally started LeeMo, my personal exploration of digital fabrication has expanded the way that I approach modular origami. Folding will always be a passion for me, but I never want to forget how it all started: a little girl and a package of paper.
